This print is part of a new series celebrating desert blooms, starting with the Easter lily cactus.
It's a three-color reduction print, made from a single block of linoleum. After the first color is printed, the block is carved again and printed in the next color, then carved and printed a third time. With each round, more of the block is cut away, and once a layer is carved there's no going back. Because the block is destroyed in the process, this edition is limited to just 12 prints.
Each print is hand-carved and pulled by hand with Cranfield ink on Rives BFK Crème paper. Slight variations in ink and pressure make every print one of a kind.
Edition: 12
Paper size: 10"H x 7.5"W
