This framed piece features tiles designed for our Desert Detailsbacksplash.
Desert Details is a collection of hand-sculpted ceramic tiles featuring Sonoran Desert plants and animals. The designs blend mid-century simplicity with a Scandinavian folk sensibility. They were hand sculpted by Crooked Tree Ceramics originally for our own kitchen backsplash and are now available as framed tile compositions.
Each tile is sculpted by hand, giving the surface subtle depth, texture, and shadow. The tiles are permanently mounted, carefully grouted, and placed in a hand-welded metal frame that is ready to hang.
